Material Specifications: Seamless low carbon steel metric tubing annealed for bending & flaring. Tensile strength 32-45 Kp/mm².
Note: A 6:1 safety factor is used in table below for applications where “considerable” hydraulic shock and mechanical strain are present. For applications where hydraulic shock and mechanical strain is not considerable, a 4:1 safety factor (higher working pressures) may be carefully considered. For applications where hydraulic shock and mechanical strain is severe, an 8:1 safety factor (lower working pressures) should be applied.
Note: metric tubing design pressures have not been de rated for elevated operating temperatures. Contact Hydraulic Supply Company for application information regarding elevated temperatures.
Note: metric tubing is stocked in 6 meter (20 foot) nominal lengths.
