| March 28, 2005 New Ft. Myers Store Opens |
| During the
last weekend in February 2005 we relocated our old 2200 square foot,
leased Ft Myers location into it’s new location. A company owned and
built, state of the art facility flexing over 8600 part numbers in
6000 square feet. It was no small feat to move this store. Imagine
the coordination necessary to close a store on a Friday afternoon at
2:00pm and open for business at 7:30am that next Monday. This could
only happen through the sheer will of those managers, MIS,
Purchasing and a salesman who stood toe to toe with my team, Kelly
Zinn. But the work didn’t stop Monday morning. That day Nelson’s
Team of salesmen arrived at our new facility and visited more than
460 accounts in two days!!!! We had our Grand Opening on Wednesday with give-aways, a drawing for a nice jacket and cap and a catered bar-b-que lunch. |
