Vac-Con´s 25th Anniversary
Vac-Con, a leading manufacturer of sewer cleaning trucks, based in Northern Florida and long time customer of HSC, celebrated its 25th anniversary with a dealer/vendor meeting. The three day event began with a meet & greet at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida. A golf outing was held the next day at the Slammer and Squire Country Club. Luis Abellon/President, Nelson Reinhard/Vice President, and Greg Melby/Account Salesman of Hydraulic Supply Company, attended the event as did Robert Tripp/Area Sales Manager for Eaton Corporation. The day concluded with dinner and an awards ceremony. Various dealers received awards for their many years of service and awards were also presented to the top golf teams. A group made up of 17 individuals from Vac-Con, Eaton, and Hydraulic Supply Company were presented a special award for their work in identifying and correcting a baffling issue in one of Vac-Con´s systems. Congratulations to Greg Melby and Bob Tripp for their work in helping solve the issue and making Vac-Con´s customer a Raving Fan! The three day event concluded with a tour of Vac-Con´s manufacturing facility and presentations by vendors. Lots of fun and comradery was had by all.
