AEROQUIP AIRBRAKE TUBING

Description & Features

Designed for truck and trailer air brake systems, this red, dash-4 airbrake tubing is extruded from a proprietary polyamide alloy blend and carries a UV-stabilized cover for durability in exposed installations. The non-conductive construction handles a minimum working temperature of -40°F and a minimum bend radius of 1 inch, making it well-suited for formed tube assemblies and straight or formed air brake harness configurations.

The Aeroquip Airbrake Tubing is part of the Synflex line by Danfoss and meets SAE J2494-3, SAE J844, and SAE J1131 standards, with full DOT FMVSS 106 compliance. Compatible qualified fittings are in the QCAB series. Lay line identification is applied via ink jet. With a product width of 0.25 inches and lightweight construction, this tubing is a practical choice for auxiliary air system applications where flexibility and performance under harsh conditions are priorities.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Dwight H on May 22, 2025, 7:51 AM
So, this tubing is red. Does the color fade or hold up okay in the sun?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 24, 2025, 6:59 AM
The cover material is UV-stabilized, which helps it hold its color even when it's getting blasted by the sun all day.
