Flextime: With our concern about our employees’ well-being and ability to maintain a good balance between work and personal life, we offer a number of different work arrangements through our Flex Work time schedules so you can better manage your commitments both inside and outside of work.
Medical: The Aetna Insurance group offers several different plans for you and your dependents that can be used in or out of the healthcare provider network and include prescription plans.
Dental: You have the option of either the HMO or PPO plan with Aetna. The HMO plan offers discounted dental services with a list of participating providers. The PPO plan allows you to go to any dentist and pays a percentage of the fee.
Vision: A discount vision plan is available through VSP for expenses associated with routine eye examinations, contact lenses and glasses.
Life and AD&D: Aero/IGS/HSC provides basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for employees at no cost. You may elect to purchase additional optional life and AD&D insurance at various coverage levels for you and your dependents through Aetna.
Long Term Disability: LTD insurance protects your income as your most valuable financial asset. It is provided by Aero/IGS/HSC at no cost to you. Benefits are paid by Aetna at 60% of basic monthly earnings if you are disabled longer than 90 days.
Short Term Disability: STD insurance can be used to supplement your income for the first 90 days of absence from work due to a serious illness or injury (including maternity). The cost to you is based on your age and annual salary. Benefits are paid out by Lincoln Financial after an 8-day waiting period.
Retirement: You may enroll in this program through VOYA during the third month after your hire date and may begin contributing on the 91st day. Payroll contributions to the 401k plan are made pre-tax and depending on profits, HSC may make a discretionary match annually.
Employee Assistance Program: Counseling services are provided to assist you with personal or work related challenges that affect your ability to perform your job. These services are confidential and at no cost to you.
Legal Shield: You may enroll in this program to take advantage of both free and discounted legal services for a low monthly fee.
Vacation: After one year of service, you are eligible for a prorated amount of paid vacation. In the following January, you receive 10 days for the current year. The number of days increases based on your length of service. You receive 15 days after five years and 20 days after nineteen years of service.
Sick Leave: After a 90-day waiting period, you may use sick leave for illnesses, injuries and doctor/dentist appointments. Six days of sick leave are accumulated annually and may be carried over from year to year.
Personal Hours: Aero/IGS/HSC provides 16 hours of personal time off with pay per calendar year after a 90-day waiting period. These days or portions of days may be used as needed for personal reasons or emergencies during the normal workday.
Holidays: Aero/IGS/HSC observes seven paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Floating Holiday: After a 90-day waiting period, you receive one floating holiday per calendar year to use as an additional day off for any reason you choose.
Credit Union: Aero/IGS/HSC is affiliated with the Priority One Credit Union. They provide competitive financing rates for homes, cars and credit cards for you and your family members. No service fees are charged as long as your paycheck is direct deposited into your account. The minimum deposit is $30 to become a member.
Group Banking: Aero/IGS/HSC participates with Wells Fargo in the “Wells Fargo at Work” program that provides discounts and special services as long as you direct deposit into your account. This program provides HSC team members with a free checking account and a variety of other banking services at better rates.
Theme Parks: Aero/IGS/HSC has corporate fan club memberships with Busch Gardens, Sea World, Universal Studios, Silver Springs and Kennedy Space Center. All fan clubs provide discounts for their parks and attractions.
These programs are subject to modification or termination at any time with or without advance notice. Additional information about these programs will be provided at the time of hire in the new employee package. If this summary differs from the new employee package, the employee package governs.
