unaffected by temperature changes from 60°F to 180°F (±2% at 70°F
DT, ±4% at 120°F DT). Series 3 and Series 4 models have a restricted
reverse flow as limited by the internal orifice. Series 5 models
have a free reverse flow. Materials: Steel body (PC3 and PC5 models), Aluminum body

accurately adjusted within a small fraction of a turn (one full turn
per color). Metal knob and stem for durability. Application: Controlled flow in one direction, free flow in
opposite direction. Valves will start to control flow at 60 to 70
PSI pressure drop. Flow regulated between ± 10% above 1.5 GPM, ± 15%
0.5 to 1.5 GPM. Flow adjustment can be made under pressure. Setting
can be locked with set screw. Steel valves for use in hydraulic
systems. Materials: Body: Steel. Needle: Stainless steel. O-Ring:

Eaton Vickers® FAR1-10 Series
2-Port Pressure Compensated flow control valves
For Hydraulic Service To 10 GPM Features: Cartridge style (Requires a machined cavity or
housing for installation). Full range flow adjustment. Pressure
compensated for accurate flow control regardless of changes in input
or load pressure.
Application: Controlled flow in one direction, free flow in opposite
direction. 200 PSI pressure drop is required for pressure
compensation. Maximum Flow Rate: 10 GPM. Maximum Operating Pressure: 5000 PSI (CAUTION: Pressures over
3000 PSI require steel housing). Temperature Range: -40°F to 248°F (Extreme Limits). Recommended Filtration Level: ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level
18/16/13 or cleaner. Cartridge: Model FAR1-10-* , sold separately. Housing: Cavity size C-10-2, sold separately.
Eaton Vickers® FR2-16 Series
2-Port Pressure Compensated flow control valves
For Hydraulic Service To 30 GPM Features: Cartridge style (Requires a machined cavity or
housing for installation). Pressure compensated for accurate flow
control regardless of changes in input or load pressure. Application: Controlled flow in one direction only. Valves
will start to control flow at 60 to 70 PSI pressure drop. Maximum Flow Rate: 30 GPM. Maximum Operating Pressure: 3000 PSI. Temperature Range: -40°F to 248°F (Extreme Limits). Recommended Filtration Level: ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level
18/16/13 or cleaner. Cartridge: Model FR2-16*, sold separately. Housing: Cavity size C-16-2, sold separately.
Eaton Vickers® PFR2-10 Series
3-Port Pressure Compensated Priority flow control valves
For Hydraulic Service To 10 GPM Regulated Features: Cartridge style (Requires a machined cavity or
housing for installation). The flow adjustment range is from the
factory set maximum flow rate down to 50% of that rate. Pressure
compensated for accurate flow control regardless of changes in input
or load pressure. Application: This valve maintains a constant priority flow
from port 1 to port 3 based on the setting adjustment, regardless of
pressure changes downstream on port 3. Flow in excess of the
priority setting is directed to port 2. If the priority flow at port
3 is blocked, the spool will shift to satisfy the priority flow
requirement, thereby closing off flow to port 2. Maximum Flow Rate: 15 GPM (Inlet), 10 GPM (Priority). Maximum Operating Pressure: 3000 PSI. Temperature Range: -40°F to 248°F (Extreme Limits). Recommended Filtration Level: ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level
18/16/13 or cleaner. Cartridge: Model PFR2-10*, sold separately. Housing: Cavity size C-10-3, sold separately.
Brand Hydraulics FC51 Series
3-Port Pressure Compensated Priority flow control valves
For Hydraulic Service To 90 GPM Features: Precision ground chrome plated spool for long life.
Diamond honed spool bore provides consistent spool fit with low
leakage. Every valve is factory tested for shutoff, linearity, max.
flow & pressure compensation. Application: The FC-51 full range pressure compensating
variable flow control is designed so that the orifice area varies as
the lever is rotated. Fluid travels past the variable orifice,
through the compensator spool and then out the controlled flow port.
The flow out of the CF port is proportional to the orifice area
which can vary from closed to open. The sum of the controlled flow
and the excess flow equal the inlet flow, and as the controlled flow
increases the excess flow decreases. Both outlets are pressure
compensated by a spool that maintains a constant flow while
adjusting for pressure. Hunting between a compensated pump and the
valve is dampened with a dashpot on the compensator spool. The FC-51
can be used as a 2-port flow control by plugging the excess flow
port, and, for best results, limiting the flow to about 50% of the
valve's rated flow. Materials: Cast iron body. Heat treated spools (Stainless
steel available). Buna-N O-Rings (Standard). Maximum Operating Pressure: 3000 PSI.
Brand Hydraulics FCR51 Series
3-Port Pressure Compensated Priority flow control valves
With Relief, For Hydraulic Service To 90 GPM Features: Precision ground chrome plated spool for long life.
Diamond honed spool bore provides consistent spool fit with low

flow & pressure compensation. High lift ball spring relief valve.
Application: The FCR-51 full range pressure compensating
variable flow control is designed so that the orifice area varies as
the lever is rotated. Fluid travels past the variable orifice,
through the compensator spool and then out the controlled flow port.
The flow out of the CF port is proportional to the orifice area
which can vary from closed to open. Once the pressure on the CF port
increases above the relief setting, the relief valve opens and
diverts flow to the EX port while maintaining pressure on the CF
port. The EX port must be plumbed back to tank for the relief to
function. The sum of the controlled flow and the excess flow equal
the inlet flow, and as the controlled flow increases the excess flow
decreases. Both outlets are pressure compensated by a spool that
maintains a constant flow while adjusting for pressure. Hunting
between a compensated pump and the valve is dampened with a dashpot
on the compensator spool. Materials: Cast iron body. Heat treated spools (Stainless
steel available). Buna-N O-Rings (Standard). Maximum Operating Pressure: 3000 PSI.
