QUICK SHIP PUMPS

Vane Pump Build Program

Danfoss Vickers vane pumps configured to match your equipment.

The vane pump build program at Hydraulic Supply Co. allows for quick delivery of nearly any Vickers vane pump configuration. By assembling pumps from genuine Danfoss Vickers components, it is possible to supply units that match existing equipment and install correctly the first time.

Completed faster than waiting for a factory build, minimizing downtime.
Matches V10 and V20 series pumps used in common configurations.
Built with genuine Vickers parts and fully tested for flow and pressure.
Available in both Clockwise and Counter-clockwise rotations.
PROGRAM USAGE

When This Program Is Used

If a standard stocked vane pump will meet the requirement, that is usually the simplest option. The build program is there for the cases where it will not.

Most customers utilize this specialized assembly program when:

A Vickers vane pump replacement is needed for older equipment
A specific shaft, mounting, or rotation is required
Fast delivery is needed to minimize production downtime
Matching specific V10, V20, or VQ series configurations

How It Works

Identification usually starts with a model code, nameplate information, or photos. Displacement, pressure range, rotation, shaft dimensions, and mounting style are typically enough to determine the correct configuration.

Genuine Components

Pumps are assembled using genuine Danfoss Vickers components and tested before shipment so they are ready to install and run. HSC stocks parts for nearly every combination of Vickers V10 and V20 pumps, including V2010, V2020, V10F, and V20F configurations.

Vane Pump Services Technician
HANDS-ON KNOWLEDGE

Experience That Matters

Vane pumps are sensitive to internal tolerances and correct configuration. Small differences in cartridge components, shaft fit, or rotation can affect noise, efficiency, and service life.

Hydraulic Supply Co. has long-standing experience working with Danfoss and Vickers products and is one of the leading fluid power distributors supporting these pump lines.

That level of involvement means regular hands-on work with these components, familiarity with common industrial applications, and direct access to the parts and technical resources needed to configure pumps correctly. For customers, that usually translates into faster identification, fewer installation issues, and pumps that perform the way they are expected to in service.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does a vane pump build program make sense?

When you need a pump quickly and don't have time to wait for the typical factory lead time. The program is designed specifically to resolve immediate replacement needs.

Are assembled pumps as reliable as factory units?

Yes. When genuine components are used and the pump is assembled and tested properly by experienced technicians, performance and reliability are comparable to factory-assembled units in normal service.

How long does it take to receive a pump?

Lead time depends on configuration and component availability, but assembling pumps locally often reduces delays compared with factory assembly. Typical lead times are only a couple of days, compared to weeks from the factory.

What information helps speed up the quoting process?

Providing the existing model number, displacement, rotation direction, shaft type, and mounting style will allow our team to quickly identify and quote the correct replacement configuration.
