MatchMate Plus® - The 3 minute crimp hydraulic hose assembly system.
The process of matching and mating hydraulic hose with hydraulic hose fittings is greatly simplified with the new MatchMate Plus system. Colored rings on the hydraulic hose layline match the design and number of rings on the corresponding hydraulic hose fittings. Following your selection of the proper hydraulic hose and hose fittings, the crimp machine “mates” the two parts through the use of color-coded dies. When the mating procedure is complete, you have a perfect hydraulic hose assembly. You directly benefit with reduced downtime, less scrap and minimal operator training.

 Reusable hydraulic hose fittings
Reusable hydraulic hose fittings consist of two pieces: the insert and socket. The insert has machined threads running along the outer diameter. These threads engage the socket during assembly.
The socket features deep-tapped inner threads, which allow room for the hose cover to expand, and sharp lead threads that cut a spiral path into the hose jacket without reaching the wire braid. Following the lead threads are blunt threads with spaces between them that fill up with the hose’s outer rubber cover during assembly. At the neck, the socket has installation threads, which engage the insert threads during assembly.
