VAC-CON CONFERENCE/OUTING
On March 17th 2010, Hydraulic Supply and Eaton participated in Vac Con's dealer meeting and golf outing. Vac-Con, a manufacture of larger sewer cleaning trucks, has a annual dealer meeting where truck dealers from across the globe come to Florida and visit the plant and join in training and sales classes along with a day of golf with the OEM's key suppliers. This gives us (a supplier) an opportunity to talk directly with the people in the field selling and working with the trucks and our products. That feedback is extremely useful to Vac Con to seek performance improvements based on real life experiences and to us to allow us a honed in focus when selecting products to offer. Luis Abellon, Nelson Reinhard and Greg Melby played on a foursome with Robert Tripp from Eaton. The conditions were cold, windy and wet but the HSC/Eaton team made a great day of it. HSC and Eaton sponsored the longest drive and closest to the pin holes and the winners were rewarded with Gift Cards to the local Pro Shop. We now look forward to a successful year and next year's outing.
