Question by: Wayne B on Mar 9, 2026, 1:02 PM
What kind of torque can I expect out of this motor, and is it actually useful at low speeds or does it drop off?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 11, 2026, 6:24 AM
At low speeds, this unit holds up well. The torque rating comes in at 377 newton metres, and the Gerotor/Geroler design is built specifically to keep that output strong even when RPMs are low. That's where a lot of motors fall short, but the spool valve configuration here is meant to address exactly that. If your application puts heavy load demand at slow movement, that's the scenario this motor was engineered around.
Question by: Lyle E on Jul 15, 2025, 9:49 AM
need something that’ll pull good torque at low speed for an aerial lift, is this one built for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 16, 2025, 12:01 PM
For slow-speed work where you still need muscle, the XLH Series uses low-speed Gerotor or Geroler technology and is rated up to 377 newton metres of torque, which lines up well with aerial work platform use.
