Question by: Neil H on Mar 1, 2026, 3:28 PM
got a machine tool setup that needs a 3 or 4 way directional valve, is this DG4V324ALMUC660 the right kind of valve for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 2, 2026, 3:52 PM
Built for three or four way directional control, this DG4V-3 series valve fits the type of function you see in machine tool hydraulic circuits, along with presses, primary metal, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control systems.
Question by: Patty R on Nov 30, 2025, 7:45 PM
flow rate on this one's listed at 80 litres per minute -- is that enough for a press application or would it be cutting it close?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 2, 2025, 3:14 PM
For most press circuits, 80 litres per minute is solid. Press applications are specifically listed among the intended uses for this valve, so it's built with that kind of demand in mind. Whether it's cutting it close depends on your system's peak flow requirements, but the rating gives you a reasonable working margin for typical press duty.
Question by: Brenda W on May 18, 2025, 11:01 AM
Can this valve handle the kind of flow rates we're pushing in our die casting setup? We're running around the clock, so reliability is key.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 20, 2025, 8:51 AM
For die casting and similar applications, this Vickers valve is rated up to 80 liters per minute. Buna-N seals should also provide good fluid compatibility across a broad range of hydraulic media.
