Designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DGMC 3 BT BW 40 is a SystemStak directional control valve built to the 41 design series. With a flow capacity of 60 litres per minute and Buna-N seals, it suits a wide range of fluid power applications where reliable directional control and leak-free performance are critical.
The SystemStak mounting format reduces installation costs by eliminating discrete interconnecting fittings between valve stations, which also cuts potential external leakage points and boosts resistance to contamination ingress. Suitable applications include machine tool systems, press circuits, die casting and foundry equipment, marine and offshore installations, primary metal and paper processing, test and simulation rigs, and turbine control systems covering wind, steam, and water turbines.

we run a SystemStak setup on our press line and need a directional control valve that'll slot right in without a bunch of extra fittings. this the right format for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 14, 2025, 6:24 AM
SystemStak is exactly the mounting format this valve uses, so it'll integrate directly into an existing SystemStak stack without needing separate interconnecting fittings between stations. That matters on a press circuit because fewer connection points means fewer spots for external leakage to develop and less exposure to contamination getting in. Flow capacity on this one is 60 litres per minute, and it carries Buna-N seals, so as long as your fluid is compatible with that seal material you should be in good shape for a press application.
