got a die casting setup. is this valve the kind thats meant for directional control on that sort of equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 12, 2026, 6:39 AM
For die casting and foundry work, this model is built for three or four way directional control, which is the basic job you need in circuits that are shifting flow to different functions.
Question by: Rusty B on May 2, 2025, 3:50 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or die casting work, or is it on the lower end for that kind of application?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 4, 2025, 11:27 AM
For die casting and press use, 80 liters per minute is a solid mid-range flow capacity. It covers a wide range of standard cycle demands in those environments without being oversized. Whether it's enough really comes down to your system's specific flow requirements at peak demand, but this valve is explicitly rated and applied in both die casting and press contexts, so it's well within its intended use range for most setups in those industries.
Question by: Gary R on Jan 10, 2026, 9:40 PM
reckon this valve'd hold up okay in a die casting setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 12, 2026, 6:03 AM
Specifically designed for applications like die casting and foundry work, this directional control valve should perform reliably. It's also commonly used in primary metal processes and similar heavy-duty settings.
