Vickers DG4V 3S 2N M U A5 60

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG4V 3S 2N M U A5 60 is a single-stage directional control valve offering three- or four-way flow control with a maximum flow rate of 80 litres per minute. The valve operates at 30 watts and uses Buna-N seals, making it well-suited for systems requiring reliable sealing performance across a range of hydraulic fluids.

Mounting follows industry-standard surface patterns, simplifying integration into new or existing hydraulic circuits. Suitable applications span machine tool, press, marine and offshore, die casting and foundry, primary metal and paper processing, turbine control, and test and simulation equipment, reflecting the valve's broad operational compatibility across heavy industrial sectors.

Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this valve is part of the DG4V-3 series, a platform with extensive model coverage to address varied directional control requirements.

Question by: Wade J on Aug 7, 2025, 11:52 AM
got a system that needs a 3-way or 4-way directional valve, is this DG4V-3 one of those?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 9, 2025, 7:24 AM
Built as a single-stage directional control valve, it handles three- or four-way flow control and is part of the Vickers DG4V-3 series.
Question by: Roger D on Aug 2, 2025, 6:30 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 litres per minute -- is that enough to run a press circuit without bogging things down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 4, 2025, 2:17 PM
For most press applications, 80 litres per minute gives you solid working capacity. The DG4V-3 series is actually listed as suitable for press use right alongside machine tool and die casting setups, so it's not a stretch to run it in that kind of circuit. Whether it covers your full system demand depends on what else is drawing flow, but the valve itself won't be the weak link at typical press operating volumes.
