trying to swap out an old directional valve, is this one the cetop 7 subplate mounted style?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 2, 2025, 6:09 AM
The key detail is it is a CETOP 7 subplate mounted directional valve, so it is meant to bolt onto an industry standard CETOP 7 mounting surface.
Question by: Danny M on Jun 3, 2025, 9:07 AM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 160 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or primary metals work, or is it more suited to lighter duty stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 5, 2025, 6:09 AM
For press and primary metals applications, 160 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Those are actually listed use cases for this valve, so it's not just capable on paper. Die casting and turbine control are also on the supported application list, and those tend to be demanding environments. As long as your system requirements fall within that flow ceiling, you're in good shape for the heavier industrial work you're describing.
