Question by: Ross W on May 11, 2025, 11:06 AM
Flow rate on this one says 80 liters per minute, that enough to run a press application without choking the system?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 13, 2025, 10:23 AM
For press applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate and sits well within the range most industrial press circuits demand. Vickers built this valve with press use explicitly in mind, so it's not a stretch to run it in that kind of setup. Just make sure your system is sized to match that flow capacity on both the supply and return sides so you're not creating a bottleneck somewhere upstream or downstream of the valve itself.

got a hydraulic setup that needs a 3 or 4 way directional valve. is this DG4V 3S 33C M U A5 the right kind for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 22, 2025, 12:52 PM
Built as a three or four-way directional control valve, it’s meant for routing flow in those circuits and it mounts on industry-standard surfaces for straightforward installation.
Question by: Melvin P on Aug 9, 2025, 10:17 AM
Will this directional control valve hold up in a marine environment, like on a boat or offshore rig?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 11, 2025, 6:56 AM
Its application list does include marine and offshore environments, so it should be suitable for those uses.
