Rated for flow up to 80 litres per minute, the Vickers DG4V 3 0C H M U C6 is a single-stage directional control valve designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits. It supports three- or four-way directional control and mounts easily on industry-standard subplate surfaces, simplifying integration into existing system configurations.

got a hydraulic setup that needs 3-way directional control sometimes and 4-way other times. is this DG4V 3 valve meant for that kind of switching?

Built for three or four way directional control, it fits the role when your circuit needs either style of flow routing depending on the spool arrangement you are using in that DG4V 3 series.

We got a press line and a die casting setup both needing directional control valves. This model keep popping up for both. Is it actually suited for those two applications or is it more of a one-or-the-other situation?

Both of those are right in the wheelhouse for this valve. Press and die casting and foundry work are both listed applications for this series, so running it across those two environments is a legitimate use case. The 60 Design series also covers a wide model range, so if your press circuit and your die casting setup have different configuration needs, there are likely options within the same family to cover both without jumping to a completely different product line.
