Designed for demanding industrial environments, the DG4V-3-2A-M-U-H7-60-EN38 is a directional control valve from Danfoss Power Solutions, engineered as a low-leakage, high head loss version with a rated flow of 80 litres per minute and a solenoid wattage of 30W. Buna-N seals provide reliable compatibility across a broad range of hydraulic fluids.
This valve features specially designed spools with increased overlap, resulting in typical leakage of just 5 ml/min/land at 100 bar, approximately half that of a standard valve. That characteristic makes it well suited to precision-critical applications including machine tool, press, turbine control (wind, steam, and water), die casting and foundry, primary metal and paper, marine and offshore, and test equipment and simulation. Installation drawing No. 508190, assembly drawing No. 698501, and test procedure 698502 are referenced for integration guidance.

Question by: Marvin M on Jan 10, 2026, 8:45 PM
Is this directional valve okay for a machine that runs non-stop, or do I need something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 12, 2026, 7:56 PM
This DG4V-3-2A-M-U-H7-60-EN38 directional control valve is well-suited for demanding industrial environments, making it a good option for continuous-use applications. Its low-leakage design, with typical leakage of just 5 ml/min/land at 100 bar, helps maintain consistent performance even under prolonged operation.
Question by: Harvey H on Sep 21, 2025, 9:54 PM
low leakage sounds good, but what’s it actually leak at pressure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 23, 2025, 6:07 AM
For the low leakage spool design on this valve, typical internal leakage is 5 ml/min per land at 100 bar, which is called out as about half of a standard valve.
