Question by: Neil J on Sep 21, 2025, 3:08 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- that enough for a press application or is it gonna be a bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 23, 2025, 6:03 AM
For most press setups, 80 liters per minute is a solid working range. The DG4V 3 2A MS5 FTWL is actually listed as suitable for press applications, so it's matched to that kind of demand. Whether it becomes a limiting factor depends on your system's peak flow requirements, but 80 LPM is a respectable ceiling for a valve in this class.

got a setup that sees foundry work and some press duty, is this valve even meant for that kind of service?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 16, 2025, 4:12 PM
For real-world use, this directional control valve is listed for die casting and foundry work, presses, and a handful of other industrial systems like machine tools, marine and offshore, paper manufacturing, test and simulation, and turbine control.
