I'm swapping out a valve on an old press. Reckon this Vickers DG4V 3S 66C V M will fit where the old one was?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 17, 2025, 8:06 AM
Installation shouldn't be an issue, as this directional control valve is designed for mounting on industry-standard subplates. Just double-check your existing setup to confirm compatibility.
Question by: Darryl H on May 4, 2025, 11:44 AM
flow rate on this one's listed at 80 LPM, that enough for a press application or is it gonna be cutting it close?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 6, 2025, 8:47 AM
For most press circuits, 80 litres per minute is a solid working range. The DG4V 3S 66C V M is actually listed with press as one of its named application types, so it's a known fit for that kind of work. Whether it's tight or comfortable depends on your system's peak demand, but the valve itself isn't an unusual choice for press duty.

trying to swap out a directional valve, is this DG4V 3S 66C V M a single-stage deal and what’s it meant to control
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 24, 2026, 6:44 AM
Built for three or four way directional control, it is a single-stage solenoid directional control valve used to route hydraulic flow in industrial circuits where you need reliable control of actuator direction.
