Question by: Janet M on Jul 15, 2025, 8:55 AM
got a setup that needs a 3 or 4 way directional valve, is this one actually set up for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 16, 2025, 4:40 PM
Built for three or four way directional control, this DG4V series valve is meant to route hydraulic flow to shift an actuator one direction or the other, or to neutral, depending on how it is configured.
Question by: Bobby S on Jul 17, 2025, 9:32 PM
Will this work alright in a marine environment, like on a boat?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 19, 2025, 6:07 AM
Application data confirms this Vickers directional control valve is indeed suitable for marine and offshore environments.
Question by: Peggy R on Feb 24, 2026, 10:20 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press work or die casting setups runnin pretty hard?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 26, 2026, 6:55 AM
For press and die casting applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. Those environments put real demand on directional control valves, and this model is specifically listed for both press and die casting and foundry use, so it fits right in that kind of work. Just make sure your system is sized to match that flow ceiling and you should be in good shape.
