Vickers DG4V 3S 3C M FPA5WL

Description & Features

Rated for flow up to 80 litres per minute, the Vickers DG4V 3S 3C M FPA5WL is a single-stage directional control valve designed for demanding industrial hydraulic systems. It supports three- or four-way directional control configurations and mounts on industry-standard surfaces, making integration into existing machine assemblies straightforward.

Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across a broad range of hydraulic media, while the 30-watt solenoid rating suits standard industrial power supplies. This valve is suited to a wide range of sectors including machine tool, press, primary metal, marine and offshore, die casting and foundry, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control applications covering wind, steam, and water systems.

Question by: Roger J on Oct 24, 2025, 4:25 PM
got a machine that needs a directional valve, what kind of flow can this DG4V handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 6:10 AM
For capacity, it is rated up to 80 litres per minute, which puts it in a good range for a lot of industrial hydraulic circuits that need solid directional control.
Question by: Merle W on Aug 27, 2025, 6:23 AM
Will this valve work okay in a machine tool application, or is it really meant for something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 6:20 AM
It's definitely suitable for machine tool applications, along with presses, primary metal, marine/offshore, die casting and foundry, test and simulation equipment, and even turbine control systems.
Question by: Vince S on Jan 28, 2026, 12:55 PM
Flow rate on this one says 80 litres per minute, that hold up across both three-way and four-way configurations, or is that number only for one of em?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 30, 2026, 6:40 AM
80 litres per minute is the rated flow for the valve regardless of whether you're running it in a three-way or four-way setup. The directional configuration affects how flow is routed through the ports, not the overall capacity the valve is built to handle. Both arrangements operate within that same 80 LPM ceiling.
