Question by: Scott B on Aug 18, 2025, 9:59 PM
got a machine tool setup that tops out around 80 L/min. is this valve actually rated to handle that flow?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 20, 2025, 6:48 PM
Rated capacity on this DG4V-3S valve is up to 80 litres per minute, so a circuit that runs at or under that flow is within its stated flow limit.

Hey, I'm looking at this valve for a metal press. What kind of flow rate can it handle without issue?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 23, 2026, 3:09 PM
This directional control valve can handle flows up to 80 liters per minute, making it suitable for presses and other demanding applications.
Question by: Lyle H on Jul 26, 2025, 8:34 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 litres per minute -- that metric or is there a GPM equivalent i should be working with for my system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 28, 2025, 6:02 AM
80 litres per minute works out to roughly 21 gallons per minute, so if your system is sized in GPM that's the number to plan around. Worth keeping in mind that 80 LPM is the rated max, so running consistently at or near that ceiling isn't always ideal depending on what else is in the circuit.
