Question by: Jerry M on Nov 9, 2025, 8:42 AM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- is that enough for press or die casting work or would it be cutting it close?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 10, 2025, 1:44 PM
For most press and die casting setups, 80 liters per minute gives you solid working capacity. This valve series was built with exactly those applications in mind, along with machine tool and primary metal environments. Whether 80 LPM is enough really comes down to your circuit demands, but the DG4V-3 fits well into mid-range industrial hydraulic systems where that flow level is common. If your system is running near or above that threshold consistently, you'd want to size up, but for typical press and die casting cycles it's a reasonable fit.
