got a main stage setup already, is this one of those CETOP 7 subplate mounted valves and spring centered?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 15, 2025, 4:38 PM
Built as a CETOP 7 subplate mounted directional control valve, it uses a spring centered spool and is intended for main stage applications.
Question by: Hubert P on May 27, 2025, 5:43 PM
flow rate on this one says 380 liters per minute -- is that enough for a press application or is that on the lower end for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 29, 2025, 6:34 AM
For press applications, 380 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity. Press systems vary a lot in their demands, but this valve sits in a range that handles most industrial press setups without being a bottleneck. It's listed as suitable for press use right alongside primary metal, die casting, and foundry environments, so it's been spec'd with that kind of heavy-cycle work in mind. If your press is running standard hydraulic circuits, this should hold up on flow without issue.
Question by: Roger C on Jul 5, 2025, 5:38 PM
Is this Vickers valve suitable for hydraulic presses, or is it more for lighter-duty stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 7, 2025, 8:53 AM
Constructed for demanding environments, this Vickers DG5V valve handles applications like presses, primary metal processing, and even turbine control for wind, steam, and water.
