Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG5V 7 8C E VM U B6 is a two-stage directional control valve capable of handling flow rates up to 380 litres per minute. It supports three- or four-way directional control configurations and mounts directly onto industry-standard surfaces, making integration straightforward across a wide range of hydraulic systems.
Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility in typical hydraulic service conditions. The valve suits a broad spectrum of applications including die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, presses, primary metal and paper processing machinery, marine and offshore installations, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control systems for wind, steam, and water turbines.
Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this valve is part of the DG5V-7 30 Design series, which offers extensive model variety to accommodate differing circuit and performance requirements.

Question by: Darryl K on Sep 22, 2025, 7:13 PM
got a system that needs a two-stage directional valve, is this one set up for 3-way or 4-way control?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 24, 2025, 6:35 AM
For directional control, the DG5V-7 series valve supports either three-way or four-way configurations, so it can be used in circuits that need either style of spool function.
Question by: Curt M on Oct 18, 2025, 9:41 PM
Flow rate on this one says 380 litres per minute, is that enough to run a heavy-duty press without the valve being a bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 20, 2025, 8:27 AM
For most press applications, 380 litres per minute is a solid capacity. Presses are listed right in the intended application range for this valve, so it was built with that kind of demand in mind. As long as your system's flow requirements fall at or under that figure, the valve shouldn't be a limiting factor in your circuit.
