Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Norm R on Nov 2, 2025, 8:24 AM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- is that enough for a press application or should I be looking at something bigger?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 3, 2025, 9:22 PM
For most press setups, 80 liters per minute is a workable flow rate, and press applications are actually one of the listed use cases for this valve. Whether that ceiling is sufficient really comes down to your cylinder bore, stroke speed, and system demand. If your press runs moderate cycle speeds and doesn't need high-volume flow bursts, 80 LPM should hold up fine. Heavier or faster press use pushing beyond that range would need a higher-capacity valve.
