Vickers DG4V 3S 2N M FW D5

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial and mobile hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DG4V 3S 2N M FW D5 is a single-stage directional control valve from the DG4V-3 series, manufactured by Vickers, a Danfoss/Eaton brand. It supports three- or four-way directional control and mounts directly to industry-standard subplate surfaces, making it compatible with a broad range of existing hydraulic systems.

Rated at up to 80 litres per minute flow and 30 watts, this valve is suited for use across a wide range of applications including machine tool, press, primary metal, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control. Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility in typical hydraulic service. The DG4V-3 series encompasses thousands of model variants, giving specifiers flexibility across system requirements without compromising on standardisation.

got a DG4V-3 style setup already. does this one bolt up to the standard subplate or am i gonna be drilling holes
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 28, 2026, 9:21 PM
Mounting comes straightforward since it is made to mount directly to industry-standard subplate surfaces. That setup is meant to drop into a lot of existing hydraulic systems without custom drilling.
Question by: Roy T on Dec 3, 2025, 6:26 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM, that enough for a press circuit runnin moderate duty cycles?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 5, 2025, 6:10 AM
For most press applications, 80 litres per minute gives you solid headroom. The DG4V-3 series was built with press circuits in mind, so it's a recognized fit for that kind of work. Whether it's enough depends on your system's demand, but 80 LPM is a respectable ceiling for a single-stage directional control valve in this class.
