flow rate on this valve is listed at 95 liters per minute -- is that enough for press and die casting work or would it be cutting it close?

For most press and die casting setups, 95 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Those applications are specifically listed as intended uses for this valve, so it was built with those flow demands in mind. Whether it's cutting it close really depends on your system's peak demand.
