Question by: Bobby R on Mar 15, 2026, 2:11 PM
got a machine that already runs a Vickers 25V series pump, is this 25VTAS21A one of those?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 17, 2026, 6:40 AM
Within Vickers’ 25V series, the 25VTAS21A 2202AA 22R is a cast iron vane pump built around an intra-vane cartridge design. If your current pump is from the 25V family, this model is in that same series.
Question by: Todd F on Apr 17, 2025, 7:02 PM
Reckon this vane pump would hold up okay in a metal cutting shop?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 19, 2025, 6:09 AM
With its cast iron housing and innovative intra-vane cartridge design, this Vickers vane pump is well-suited for the demands of metal cutting machinery.
Question by: Ricky F on Jun 5, 2025, 6:20 PM
We run a pair of these on our wheel loaders and they've held up fine, but my supervisor wants to know if the cast iron housing is gonna be a problem in high-cycle setups where the pumps barely get a rest between jobs.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 7, 2025, 8:30 AM
Cast iron was specifically chosen for this housing because it handles high-cycle environments well. Consistent flow performance under that kind of repeated demand is exactly what the material and overall design are built around, so running it hard on wheel loaders with minimal downtime between cycles lines up with how this pump is meant to be used.
