Vickers DGMC2 5 AB FW BA BW

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DGMC2 5 AB FW BA BW is a SystemStak directional control valve rated for flow up to 120 litres per minute. Its stacked valve architecture reduces installation costs by eliminating the need for extensive inter-valve connections, while also cutting external leakage points and boosting resistance to contamination, three practical advantages in high-cycle or precision-sensitive applications.

Buna-N seals make this valve well suited to a broad range of standard hydraulic fluids. Applicable across industries including machine tool, press, primary metals, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, turbine control, and test and simulation equipment, the 2.82-inch width fits within compact manifold assemblies where space is at a premium. Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this is a 30 Design valve within the DGMC2-5 series.

trying to clean up a stack on a machine tool, what’s the big deal with this being a SystemStak valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 10, 2025, 7:25 PM
In a stacked manifold setup, the SystemStak style lets you build the circuit by stacking valves instead of running a bunch of external inter-valve hydraulic connections. That cuts down installation cost, reduces potential external leak points, and helps with contamination resistance in busy industrial circuits.

Reckon this'll drop right in where my old DGMC2-5 valve was?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 8, 2025, 3:38 PM
This DGMC2-5 valve is designed as part of the SystemStak series, so it should be a direct replacement if your old valve was also a SystemStak configuration. Just double-check the design number (30 in this case) to be sure.
Question by: Wes G on Nov 30, 2025, 12:30 PM
flow rate on this one is 120 lpm, but what kind of setups is it actually built for? like what industries use these?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 2, 2025, 6:09 AM
Pretty wide range, honestly. These valves see regular use in machine tool use, press applications, die casting and foundry environments, primary metals and paper processing, marine and offshore equipment, turbine control systems, and test and simulation rigs. The stacked valve design is what makes it practical across all those different settings since it cuts down on the hydraulic lines and inter-valve connections you'd otherwise need, which matters a lot in high-cycle or precision-sensitive work.
