Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Scott P on Mar 4, 2026, 2:06 PM
flow rate on this one says 115 liters per minute, is that enough to handle press or die casting setups without it being a bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 6, 2026, 11:25 AM
For most press and die casting applications, 115 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Those environments put real demand on directional control valves, and this one is specifically listed for both die casting and foundry work as well as press applications. As long as your system is sized to stay within that flow ceiling, you shouldn't run into restriction issues under normal operating conditions.
Question by: Howard R on Feb 2, 2026, 11:37 AM
got a hydraulic setup that needs about 115 lpm, is this valve gonna keep up or is that too much flow
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 3, 2026, 9:56 PM
At 115 liters per minute, the DG5S4 022N M FW B5 is rated right at that flow level, so it fits systems that call for up to 115 L/min of hydraulic flow through the valve.
Question by: Tommy S on Jun 15, 2025, 5:21 PM
Can this valve handle the kind of flow rates we're dealing with in our metal processing plant?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 17, 2025, 7:24 AM
This Vickers valve is designed to handle flow rates up to 115 liters per minute, which should be suitable for many metal processing applications.
