Question by: Rod S on Sep 24, 2025, 8:20 AM
Can this valve handle the kind of use you see in a die casting setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 26, 2025, 6:39 AM
This Vickers valve is well-suited to the demands of die casting and foundry environments, as well as machine tools, marine/offshore applications, presses, primary metal processing, paper production, test equipment, simulation systems, and turbine control.
Question by: Ralph W on Jan 14, 2026, 12:02 PM
got a DG4S4 valve on the machine now, is this one basically a directional control valve for 3-way or 4-way setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 16, 2026, 6:53 AM
Built for three or four-way directional control, it’s meant to route hydraulic flow in either a 3-way or 4-way circuit depending on how it’s applied in the system.
Question by: Bobby R on Mar 5, 2026, 3:33 PM
flow rate on this one is listed at 95 liters per minute -- is that enough for most press applications or is it on the lower end for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 7, 2026, 10:54 AM
For press applications, 95 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate and falls well within the range that most standard press circuits operate at. This valve covers die casting, foundry work, and primary metal processing too, so it's built with demanding cycle environments in mind. Whether it fits your specific press setup depends on your system's demand, but the flow capacity here isn't a limiting factor for the majority of press configurations out there.
