Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Chad A on Aug 30, 2025, 9:53 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 115 liters per minute, is that enough for a typical machine tool setup or press application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 1, 2025, 11:12 AM
For most machine tool and press applications, 115 liters per minute is a solid working figure. That range covers a wide variety of mid-to-heavy duty hydraulic circuits without issue. The valve is built specifically with those environments in mind, along with die casting and foundry work, so it's well matched to the kind of flow demands those systems put on a directional control valve.
Question by: Phil G on May 22, 2025, 11:19 AM
What kind of seal does this directional valve use?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 23, 2025, 9:33 PM
This Vickers valve uses a Buna-N seal, which provides good performance in a variety of hydraulic applications.
