Vickers CG5 060A C M FTWL

Description & Features

Designed for hydraulic circuits requiring adjustable pressure control, the Vickers CG5 060A C M FTWL is a CG5-06 series pressure control valve capable of handling flow rates up to 227 litres per minute. It is suited to applications where limiting circuit pressure to a defined maximum is essential, functioning as either a relief or regulating valve depending on circuit configuration.

Built with Buna-N seals for reliable fluid compatibility, this valve features a plug-and-play design that simplifies installation and integration into existing hydraulic systems. Moisture-resistant construction supports use in demanding industrial environments. The CG5-06 platform is a well-established Vickers by Danfoss product line, recognized for consistent performance in pressure valve applications.

flow rate on this thing tops out at 227 LPM -- that handle most standard industrial setups runnin pressure control circuits?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 6, 2025, 2:44 PM
For the majority of industrial hydraulic circuits built around pressure control or relief functions, 227 litres per minute gives you plenty of headroom. The CG5-06 series is a well-established platform, and that flow capacity covers a wide range of production and process equipment running adjustable pressure regulation. If your circuit is pushing significantly beyond that threshold, you'd want to size up, but for typical pressure-limiting applications this valve fits right in.

trying to keep a hydraulic circuit from spiking too high, is this the kind of valve that’ll do that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 24, 2025, 6:04 AM
For circuits where you need to cap pressure at a set maximum, it works as an adjustable pressure control valve. Depending on how you plumb it into the circuit, it can act as a relief valve or a regulating valve to keep pressure from going past your target.
