Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Keith F on Mar 17, 2026, 11:08 AM
Flow rate on this one says 95 liters per minute, is that enough to handle a press or die casting setup without starving the circuit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 18, 2026, 2:08 PM
For most die casting and press applications, 95 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Those environments put real demand on directional control valves, and this one was built with exactly that kind of use in mind. As long as your system isn't pushing flow requirements beyond that ceiling, you should have plenty of headroom for reliable operation in either of those setups.

got a press setup that needs a 3 or 4 way directional valve, is this one meant for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 18, 2025, 11:51 AM
In press and other heavy industrial circuits, the DG4S4L series is used as a directional control valve and it is listed for press applications along with die casting and foundry work, machine tools, and turbine control.
