Question by: Hugh M on Jun 21, 2025, 9:01 AM
Flow rate on this thing is listed at 454 liters per minute, that enough headroom for a high-demand circuit running multiple actuators at once?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 23, 2025, 8:34 AM
For most multi-actuator setups in heavy industrial work, 454 liters per minute gives you solid capacity. This valve is built to limit pressure to a desired maximum in the circuit, so as long as your system demand stays within that flow ceiling, it should handle the load without choking performance. If you're running actuators in parallel and aggregate demand pushes close to that number, it's worth accounting for that in your circuit math before committing.

got a system where pressure likes to spike on startup. is this CG5 valve meant to cap it at a set max?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 21, 2026, 1:12 PM
In a hydraulic circuit where you need to keep pressure from climbing past a chosen limit, this valve is used as an adjustable pressure relief or regulating valve to hold pressure to a desired maximum.
