flow rate on this thing is listed at 454 liters per minute -- is that enough for a high-demand circuit running a big cylinder setup?

For most high-demand hydraulic cylinder applications, 454 liters per minute is a solid capacity. That puts it well above what a lot of standard pressure control valves offer, so unless you're running an unusually large multi-actuator system pushing flow beyond that ceiling, it should handle the load without restriction. The valve is built for pressure relief and regulation work, so pairing that flow capacity with its adjustable pressure control function gives you good flexibility on circuits where demand can spike.
