Question by: Hubert B on Jul 30, 2025, 3:45 PM
Got a machine tool setup running a fair bit of flow through it, will 94 litres per minute be enough to handle that kind of demand on a two-stage valve like this one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 1, 2025, 8:06 AM
For most machine tool circuits, 94 litres per minute is a solid ceiling and should cover the bulk of what you'd push through a two-stage directional control valve in that context. The DG5S4 is built for exactly that kind of environment, so you're not stretching it thin by putting it on a machine tool application. Just make sure your system's actual peak flow stays at or under that rated limit and you'll be in good shape.
Question by: Lyle R on Aug 22, 2025, 2:52 PM
Just want to make sure I'm understanding this right – this valve works with either three-way or four-way flow control, is that the deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 24, 2025, 6:21 AM
That's correct. This Vickers DG5S4 directional control valve is designed to handle either three-way or four-way flow control depending on your system's needs.
