got a hydraulic circuit that keeps spiking pressure, is this CG5 valve the kind that’ll let me set a max and keep it there
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 26, 2026, 12:16 PM
Built for adjustable pressure relief or regulation, it’s meant to limit a hydraulic circuit to a desired maximum pressure so those spikes get controlled instead of continuing to climb.
Question by: Steve P on Aug 18, 2025, 9:06 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 227 litres per minute -- is that enough for most standard hydraulic circuit setups running a pressure relief application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 20, 2025, 2:55 PM
For a pressure relief or regulating valve, 227 litres per minute is a solid capacity that covers a wide range of industrial hydraulic circuits. Most standard systems running adjustable relief duty won't push anywhere close to that ceiling, so you've got good headroom to work with. The Buna-N seals also hold up well against common hydraulic fluids, which keeps things running clean without a lot of worry about leak points under load.
