Designed for hydraulic circuits requiring precise pressure management, the Vickers CG5 060A F M U D5 is an adjustable pressure control valve built to limit system pressure to a defined maximum. It functions as either a relief or regulating valve, making it well suited to applications where consistent pressure control is critical to safe and reliable circuit performance.
Rated for flow up to 227 litres per minute, this valve features a plug-and-play design that simplifies installation and replacement. Buna-N seals provide reliable performance across a range of fluid compatibility requirements, while moisture-resistant construction supports use in demanding industrial environments. The valve carries the Vickers brand under the Danfoss / Eaton portfolio and belongs to the CG5-06 series of pressure control valves.

Application
Applications requiring an adjustable pressure relief or regulating valve to limit the pressure in a hydraulic circuit to a desired maximum
Looking for a valve that’ll keep my hydraulic pressure from getting carried away. Is this CG5-06 meant for that kind of job?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 25, 2025, 12:22 PM
Built around pressure management, this valve is used to limit a hydraulic circuit to a set maximum pressure and keep things consistent. It can be applied as an adjustable relief valve or as a regulating valve when you need controlled pressure for safe, reliable operation.

What sort of applications is this valve really best suited for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 29, 2025, 7:41 AM
Designed for hydraulic circuits needing very precise pressure management, this Vickers valve excels at limiting system pressure to a defined maximum. It's a solid choice where consistent pressure control is critical for safety and reliability.
Question by: Lance B on Jul 27, 2025, 1:15 PM
Flow rate on this one says 227 litres per minute, is that enough for most mid-size hydraulic setups, or is it more of a high-capacity valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 29, 2025, 6:48 AM
For a good chunk of mid-size industrial hydraulic circuits, 227 litres per minute is plenty of headroom. That kind of flow capacity puts it well above what a lot of standard pressure control applications actually pull in normal operation, so you're not likely to be bumping up against its limits in everyday use. Where it really earns its keep is in systems where flow demand can spike and you still need consistent pressure management without the valve becoming a bottleneck.
