flow rate on this thing is listed in liters, roughly what does that work out to in gallons per minute?

454 liters per minute comes out to right around 120 gallons per minute. That puts it in a solid range for higher-demand hydraulic circuits where you need a relief or regulating valve that won't become a bottleneck under load.
