Designed for three- or four-way directional control in demanding industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DG4V 3S 0A M FW B5 is a single-stage directional control valve rated for flows up to 80 litres per minute. With a solenoid wattage of 30W and Buna-N seals, it is suited for use across a broad range of fluid power applications.
Mounting follows industry-standard subplate patterns, simplifying integration into existing hydraulic systems. Application coverage includes machine tools, presses, die casting and foundry equipment, primary metal and paper processing, marine and offshore installations, turbine control systems, and test and simulation equipment. The Vickers brand, now part of the Danfoss/Eaton portfolio, is well established in industrial hydraulic valve design.

Question by: Kirk W on Aug 6, 2025, 9:12 PM
flow rate on this one goes up to 80 LPM -- that enough for most press and machine tool setups or is it usually on the lower end for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 7, 2025, 9:42 PM
For machine tools and presses, 80 litres per minute is a solid working range. Most standard press circuits and machine tool hydraulics run well within that figure, so you're not likely to be pushing the ceiling in typical setups. Where you'd start approaching the limit is in higher-tonnage press applications with fast cycle demands, but for general industrial use this valve handles the flow without issue.

Is this valve something I can just bolt right into a standard hydraulic setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 14, 2025, 9:42 AM
Designed for easy installation, the valve follows industry-standard subplate mounting patterns, so integration into existing hydraulic systems should be straightforward.
Question by: Hank W on Aug 14, 2025, 7:46 PM
got a directional valve spot that calls for three or four-way control, is this DG4V set up for that kind of job?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 16, 2025, 6:21 AM
Built for three or four-way directional control, it’s a single-stage valve meant for tougher industrial hydraulic circuits where you need reliable shifting of flow paths.
