got a wheel loader that’s pretty loud on the hydraulics. is this Vickers pump one of the quieter vane styles?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 4, 2025, 11:42 AM
With its intra-vane cartridge design, it is built to reduce noise while keeping good volumetric efficiency, so it is a solid choice when you are trying to calm a hydraulic system down.
Question by: Eddie Y on Jan 18, 2026, 8:16 PM
flow rate on this one shows 121 liters per minute -- is that enough for running a dump truck hydraulic system or is that on the lower end for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 5:21 PM
For a dump truck application, 121.23 liters per minute puts this pump well within a working range that handles typical hoist and tailgate circuits without being undersized. The 35V series was built with exactly that kind of mobile equipment use in mind, so it's not a stretch to run it there. Cast iron construction holds up to the vibration and heat cycles you'd see on a working truck, and the Viton seals handle fluid exposure better than standard rubber over time.

What kinda applications is this pump good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 9:43 AM
It's well-suited for tough jobs like you find in oil and gas, metal cutting, dump trucks, wheel loaders, and plastic injection molding.
