Question by: Lyle R on Oct 22, 2025, 3:29 PM
pump's made of cast iron and got viton seals -- would that hold up running plastic injection molding equipment day in and day out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 6:00 PM
Cast iron handles the structural demands of injection molding pretty well, and Viton seals are a solid choice for that environment since they hold up against higher temperatures and a range of hydraulic fluids better than standard rubber seals do. The intra-vane cartridge design also helps keep noise down, which matters in a shop running machines close together all shift long.
