We run these on dump trucks out in the field, and noise is always a complaint from the operators. Does this pump do anything to help with that?

Cast iron construction and the intra-vane cartridge design on this pump both work together to bring noise levels down compared to older vane pump setups. That intra-vane design specifically was built to reduce operating noise, so if you've had loud pumps giving your operators grief, this one should be a noticeable step in the right direction.
