Question by: Rex L on Dec 5, 2025, 10:06 AM
We run a pretty noisy hydraulic setup already and the guys on the floor are always complaining about it. Does this pump do anything to help with that, or is that just marketing talk?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 7, 2025, 6:06 AM
Cast iron construction and an intra-vane cartridge design both play into this. The intra-vane setup is specifically what keeps noise levels down on these Vickers V Series pumps. It is not just a sales claim, that design feature is a real functional part of how the cartridge operates. If your current setup is loud, swapping in a pump built around that kind of cartridge is a reasonable step toward bringing those noise levels down.
