Question by: Scott M on Nov 20, 2025, 8:08 PM
Hey, I'm trying to figure out if this vane pump will hold up in a plastics plant environment. We run equipment pretty hard.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 22, 2025, 7:08 PM
It's built tough from cast iron, and they say it's good for plastics machinery, so it should be able to handle the workload if you're running it within the design specs.
Question by: Tammy H on May 22, 2025, 6:45 PM
What kind of applications is this pump built for? Got a press machine setup and trying to figure out if it'll hold up.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 24, 2025, 1:32 PM
Press machines are actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so you're in the right ballpark. It's also rated for die casting, machine tools, plastics machinery, pulp and paper, wood processing, oil and gas, marine equipment, and general industrial use. Cast iron construction means it's built to take some punishment in demanding environments, not just light-duty work.
