Question by: Scott J on Apr 25, 2025, 6:16 PM
Will this work okay in a plastic injection molding setup, running all day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 27, 2025, 10:51 AM
Designed for demanding industrial applications, this Vickers vane pump is indeed well-suited for plastic injection molding. The cast iron housing ensures durability for high-cycle industrial duty.
Question by: Curt B on Jan 6, 2026, 12:07 PM
Been running vane pumps on our injection molding machines for years and always end up with noise complaints from the floor. How's this one hold up in that regard?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 7, 2026, 9:54 PM
Noise reduction is actually one of the stronger points on this unit. The intra-vane cartridge design is specifically what handles that. It keeps things quieter than a conventional vane pump setup, which makes a real difference in shop environments where the machines run close together. Volumetric efficiency stays solid across a wide range of conditions too, so you're not trading off performance to get the lower noise.
