Designed for demanding industrial applications, the Vickers 4525V50A21 86CC22L is a double vane pump built on the proven 4525V series platform and manufactured from cast iron for durability in high-cycle environments. Its innovative intra-vane cartridge design supports reduced noise levels and excellent volumetric efficiency, making it well suited for systems where consistent flow performance is critical.
This pump serves a broad range of industries, including plastics machinery, press machines, die casting, machine tools, test equipment, primary metals, pulp and paper, wood processing, oil and gas, marine, and general industrial use. Buna-N seals are fitted as standard, and the unit carries no special features beyond its core series configuration. The Vickers brand is now marketed under Danfoss and Eaton.

cast iron build on this one, does that hold up alright in high-cycle press or die casting setups, or is it better suited for lighter duty work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 17, 2026, 3:18 PM
Cast iron is actually a solid choice for those kinds of environments. High-cycle press and die casting applications put a lot of stress on pump housings over time, and cast iron handles that kind of repetitive loading well. The 4525V series was built with demanding industrial use in mind, so running it in a press or die casting setup is right in its wheelhouse.
